EVENTPRO  /  CAYMAN ISLANDS  /  EST. 2017

Getting Cayman
through the gate
since 2017.

You already have enough to manage when you are producing an event. Your ticketing platform should not become another vendor you have to manage.

EventPro brings the technology, the local support and the event-day infrastructure behind your ticket sales into one platform. Our development team maintains and extends the system, our team supports your event on island, and when you need an answer you are not opening a ticket with somebody overseas.

Your event. Our technology. A Cayman audience already using it.

9yrs

Operating Cayman events since 2017.

120,000+

Tickets issued through a platform tested across real Cayman events.

38,000

Buyer accounts. Customers who have used EventPro before and do not have to learn a new platform for your event.

Thousands

App users. EventPro is already on the phones of ticket buyers across Cayman.

A ticket link is the easy part.

Anyone can put a checkout page online. Running the technology behind a live event is a different problem.

Your ticketing system has to stay available while sales are moving, hold inventory correctly, deliver tickets immediately, give you reporting you can act on, handle refunds and changes, process payments reliably, and still work when hundreds of guests reach your gate at the same time.

EventPro has been developing and operating that infrastructure in Cayman since 2017.

We don’t hand your event to a website vendor and hope nothing breaks.

EventPro has developers supporting the platform itself. When something needs to be changed, integrated, investigated or fixed, the technical team responsible for the platform is part of the same operation supporting your event.

Technology we can actually support

EventPro builds and maintains its own ticketing platform. We are not configuring someone else’s software or waiting on an outside developer, so when your event needs something the platform doesn’t do yet, the people who can change it are on our team. The answer is a timeline, not a no.

  • Organiser Event Manager

Create events, manage ticket types, monitor sales and pull event reporting.

  • Mobile ticketing

Customers discover events and access their tickets through the EventPro app.

  • Entry technology

Ticket validation and event-entry tools built for real gate operations.

  • Integrated payments

Sales, settlement, refunds and transaction history tied into the same event operation.

  • Custom development

Our development team can build integrations and workflows around genuine organiser requirements.

  • Continuous development

The platform keeps evolving around what organisers and event operations actually need.

Your event doesn’t start with zero users.

Thousands of Cayman ticket buyers already have EventPro on their phones, and 38,000 have created an EventPro account.

When you publish an event with us, you are not asking the market to learn an unfamiliar checkout, create an account with a company they have never heard of, or download an app they will never open again. You are putting your event into an ecosystem Cayman customers already use.

That existing audience is infrastructure too.

What sits behind the checkout

The parts of ticketing you only think about once they have failed.

  • The platform

Technology developed continuously around real event requirements, by a team that can change it when your event needs something different.

  • The audience

Existing buyer accounts and app users who already know EventPro, so your on-sale isn’t also a customer acquisition exercise.

  • The gate

Scanning, equipment and operational support for getting your guests inside. When 800 people arrive at your gate in twenty minutes, your ticketing company suddenly matters.

  • The money

Payment processing, reconciliation and settlement, handled locally and reported back to you in full.

  • The support

A local team and the technical capability to go with it, reachable while your event is live. You should be able to message somebody who knows your event and get an answer.

  • The experience

9 years of Cayman events, including the things organisers only discover after something has gone wrong. If weather forces you to postpone, you need somebody who knows how to communicate the change, protect the ticket records and move the event correctly.

A ticketing website is not a ticketing company.

Outside a ticketing company, ticketing websites usually get built one of two ways. An organiser commissions a web developer to build a ticketing platform — first for their own events, then offered to other promoters. Or an organiser adds ticket sales to their own event website for a single event.

Either way, the platform is owned by someone who didn’t build it and can’t fix it. When something breaks mid on-sale, the fix goes back to the developer as a support request, joins their queue behind every other client’s, and gets actioned when it reaches the front — often by an outsourced team in another time zone. Every organiser who signs up to that platform inherits the same dependency.

A web developer builds websites. It doesn’t run gates, reconcile settlements or answer at 11pm on event night. EventPro is a ticketing company: we build the platform, we run events on it, and the developers and the event team are the same operation, on island, and have been for 9 years.

Questions to ask any ticketing provider.

Including us. These are the questions that decide how the season actually goes, so here are ours, answered. Take the same list to anyone else you are speaking to.

  1. Who makes and controls the platform?

Some ticketing sites are white-label products supplied by a web development company. Who builds the platform — and who can change it — matters to you and to every patron who buys a ticket on it.

EventPro Built and managed in house since 2017. The people who can change the platform work here.

  2. Is this a template, and who else gets the same one?

A platform built once and resold is identical for everyone who buys it, and it only changes when the firm that built it decides to change it.

EventPro One platform, developed for Cayman events and extended as organisers need it to do more.

  3. Who owns my sales data, and who markets to the buyers?

Get both answers in writing. They are not the same question, and most providers only answer the first one.

EventPro Your event’s sales data and attendee list are yours. Buyers who open an EventPro account are also our customers and we market to them — which is how the audience your next on-sale launches into keeps growing.

  4. How many Cayman buyers already have an account?

A new platform starts at zero, and the cost of getting a market onto it lands on your marketing budget, not theirs.

EventPro 38,000 buyer accounts and thousands of app users already on island.

  5. Who answers at 11pm on event night, and where are they?

Ask for the name and the time zone, not the support email address.

EventPro Our team is here, in Cayman, reachable while your event is running.

  6. What happens at the gate if the internet drops?

Every venue on this island has had it happen. The answer should already exist, not be worked out on the night.

EventPro Our entry technology keeps scanning without a live connection and reconciles once it is back.

  7. Who handles refunds, chargebacks and a postponement?

These are operational jobs with deadlines attached, and somebody has to own them when they land.

EventPro We do. They are part of running the event, not an extra you arrange separately.

  8. What happens if the developer and the client part ways?

If the web development firm goes under, loses the account or is busy with other clients, who keeps the platform running — and what happens to the events already on sale?

EventPro We own and operate our platform. Nothing about your on-sale depends on another firm’s availability or its other clients.

From account to settlement

One approval at the start. After that the platform is yours to run, with our team alongside it.

  1. Get your organiser account

Tell us what you are producing. Once approved — usually around 24 hours — your organiser tools are activated.

  2. Build and launch your event

Create ticket types, pricing, capacity, on-sale dates and event details in Event Manager. If you would rather we set it up with you, our team is available.

  3. Sell into an existing ecosystem

Your event appears across the EventPro web and mobile platform, in front of customers already using it. Track sales live, adjust tiers and release capacity while there is still time to act on it.

  4. Run the event

Manage sales through Event Manager, and use EventPro’s entry technology and event-day support when the doors open.

  5. Settle

After your event, sales are reconciled and your settlement is processed according to your organiser agreement. Funds released within 1 Business Day.
